Xander Ashwell is the person responsible for this shambles.There is nothing he likes more than being amazed by beautiful things, visiting incredible places, having his views questioned heartily by complete strangers, & changing his mind when he realises that he’s wrong.
He would wither up into a tiny dry ball of nothing if he couldn’t take photos on a daily basis, and wouldn’t ever be happy ever again if he couldn’t play Capoeira. On his long-term to-do list is to build his own house with his own bare hands, grow enough of his own food to cook a square meal with, and to have witnessed the landscape of every continent.
Xander isn’t enamoured by the cult of celebrity or mankind’s lack of respect for the natural world. Likewise, the majority of mainstream sports popular in the UK (such as football, golf, darts, binge-drinking, happy-slapping) leave him cold. However, ask him about how beautiful Southern Africa is, the technialities of Photography, or anything at all about Capoeira, and the only way to get him to stop is to distract him with something shiny.
